However, the external appearance of the 2006 Honda CBR-1000RR is not the only thing that Honda has in store for serious enthusiasts. The 2006 Honda CBR-1000RR lives up to its reputation by its inner strength which is backed by a 998cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine fed by dual stage fuel injectors. Honda engineers have also wisely integrated a 3-D mapping and igntion system, each cylinder has 2 3-D fuel maps and each cylinder pair has 2 3-D ignition maps. Simply put, the CBR-100RRR's ECU ensures that the proper fuel mapping and spark advance is achieved at all times for perfect rideability. In addition, Honda engineers did not forget to include a Pro-Link shock rear suspension and the longest swingarm in its class for superior traction under hard acceleration.
Another notable attribute in this 2006 Honda CBR-1000RR model is the rear exiting, 4 into 2 exhaust which draws inspiration from the RC211V. This race inspired attribute not only sounds and performs well, it's great looking too. Don't think
